Vtg Japanese Wooden Steamer Seiro Mushiki
This vintage Japanese wooden steamer, or seiro, is made of wood and has a mat made of bamboo on the inside. It is a natural wood brown color.
Seiro is a cooking utensil for making steamed dishes such as dumplings. Place it on top of a pot of boiling water and let the steam come from below. If you want to put a lid on top, it is recommended to place a wet cloth between the steamer and the lid.
