Vintage Japanese Hina Doll Gold Folding Screen Byobu
This is a vintage folding panel (Byobu). This folding screen is a medium-sized version, usually used as a background for displaying Hina dolls during the Girl's Day Festival. The front of this panel is covered in a gorgeous gold paper and the fabric border is decorated with a red, blue, and orange floral pattern.
The back of the panel is made of Japanese washi paper and is beige with multicolored kanji stamp designs. The whole panel has a lacquered black wooden edge embellished with gold color metal parts. This is a delicate and elegant product for use with Hina dolls or as a general decorative item.
