Japanese Fabric Folding Fan Sensu
This is a traditional Japanese folding fan called sensu. You can use this when it's hot or as decoration. This decorative fan is made with a black transparent fabric that features a traditional shippo pattern, while the frame is natural bamboo stained black.
Shippo represents the seven treasures of Buddhism and symbolizes harmony and fosters good relationships. This was a popular pattern for women in the Edo Period.
