Vtg Japanese Clay Ebisu Omen Mask
This is a vintage Japanese clay mask (omen) of Ebisu, one of the Seven Lucky Gods. Ebisu's smiling face is painted with a peachy pink, black, red, and gold. The back side has no cord, but there are two metal wires sticking out from the edges.
Ebisu is the god of wealth, fishing, and trade. It is a beloved and common symbol of luck and good fortune in Japan.
