This is a vintage Japanese ceramic wastewater bowl for the tea ceremony or kensui. This bowl is white with a brown leaf illustration on the front. There is a sign at the bottom.
Kensui are traditionally used during tea ceremonies to store wastewater, but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
