Vtg Japanese Ceramic Tea Bowl W/ Box
This is a Japanese vintage ceramic tea bowl, or chawan, with a crackle glaze and a design of two rabbits looking at the full moon painted on the front. It is beige with light orange, almost pink, lines close to the base and on the inside. There is a stamp near the base. It is sold in a paper box, perfect for storage when not in use. This bowl can be used for tea ceremony as well as for daily use. It is an elegant piece, with an autumnal theme but suitable for any season.
