Vtg Japanese Pottery Sake Bottle Kayoi-Tokkuri
This is called a Kayoi-Tokkuri and is used to pour sake. The commuting sake bottle became popular as a rental container for liquor stores in the Edo period when sake began to be consumed on a daily basis. On the side, the kanji characters for Tenno 天王, Sake shop Matsuno 松野酒店, phone number 13 電話一三番, 8041 八〇四一 are written.
