cintage Japanese Ceramic Lidded Bowl
This is a Japanese vintage ceramic bowl with a lid, mushiwan. Mushiwan is used when cooking chawanmushi, steamed egg custard. It can also be used as a presentation dish for smaller meal elements during kaiseki dining, or can be used as a lidded teacup.
This piece is white with brown specks and features blue bamboo leaves and a gray round band lines throughout.
