Vintage Japanese Ceramic Lidded Bowl or Cup
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic bowl with a lid. Its small size is excellent for steaming, making and serving chawanmushi (a Japanese egg custard dish), and smaller soups or side dishes. It is a light beige with brown and contains painted images of six flying cranes (tsuru). It also features tiny decorative handles on the sides.
