Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. It is gray and blue. The gray crackle glass glaze covers the bowl, with a pooling around the inside and outside bottoms. It has an accent of a deep indigo-blue band with soft edges on the inside and the outside. There is a signature around the foot.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used to prepare and drink green tea during tea ceremonies, but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
