Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. It is light gray with a blurry orange-pink accent. The sheep and mountain outline design is carved and colored, while clouds and fences are just painted. Around the foot is unglazed. The surface has a Herame pattern.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
