Japanese Calligraphy Tool Set in Lidded Box Suzuribako　

This vintage calligraphy set features an inkstone, an ink stick, and a brush. The tools come in a black resin box with a lid decorated with a floral design in gold, green, and red. The box mimics the traditional calligraphy boxes. The resin inkstone surfaces are smooth. The resin brush separates into 2 parts for compact storage and has a cap to protect the tip. The box comes in a protective cardboard sliding cover. This set is likely unused.

It is a perfect set for starting or perfecting Japanese calligraphy (shodo) and traditional penmanship (shuji).
