This vintage Japanese Buddhist accordion-style book is called Shushogi. It is used by the Soto School, one of the sects of Zen in Japanese Buddhism. This book features several sutras, such as Hannya Shingyo, the Heart Sutra. It has a brown cover with silver kamon (logos) of the Soto Zen sect. The pages are printed on both sides.
