Antique Japanese Bronze Flower Vase Usubata for Ikebana

This is a usubata flower vase for ikebana flower arrangements, made of bronze. It consists of two pieces: a bottom stand with two handles and a removable flat saucer-shaped top. On a three-legged base, the round body depicts ho-oh or phoenix with flowers on one side and mountainous scenery on the other. It has vine-design handles and shishi-head-style legs.
