Vintage Japanese Bow Arrow And Gavel Display Set
This is a set of bow, arrows, and a lucky gavel (Hamayumi) for display in one's home. Hamayumi is said to ward off evil spirits from the house and bring fortune. It is also a talisman for the healthy growth of children and is often displayed during the Boys' Day Festival (Children's Day) every May. It is a combination of gold, black, and brown wood colors as well as a green silk handle on the bow and a bright orange tassel. There is a groove on the platform to place a glass case (not included).
