Vintage Japanese Bamboo Wet Towel Tray
This is a pair of vintage Japanese bamboo wet towel trays called oshibori-oki. The trays are made of bamboo and brushed with translucent lacquer. The design features a slatted board-like bottom with black beads between the sticks. The trays are rectangular and flat with raised sides. These are used to present and hold wet towels for guests during meals.
