Vintage Japanese Bamboo Basket
This is a vintage Japanese bamboo basket. Expertly woven with fine strips of bamboo, it features what is called the "chrysanthemum pattern" or kikuzoku ami. This pattern has a criss-cross floral-like image at the very center. It is round and rather shallow making it the perfect choice for storing and displaying a whole host of home and kitchen goods.
