Japanese Hanging Scroll Weights Fuchin
This is a pair of Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku) weights, or fuchin. Fuchin is a decoration that hangs on both ends of the bottom of a hanging scroll. It's a decoration as well as weighs the scroll down to keep it straight.
This item features natural agate stones in a spherical shape with a somewhat greenish tint and white and brown banding. It has dark brown tassels with a gold accent underlayer at the head.
