Return & Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at Chidori Vintage. 

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must have been purchased from Chidori Vintage.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.  We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.  If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Any Other Problems

If we accidentally sent you the wrong item please contact us promptly and we will send you the correct item.  In most cases, you can keep the mistaken item.  In the unlikely case that one of our items arrives broken, please kindly contact us with pictures of the broken item and we will find a solution such as a refund, replacement, or credit.  All sales are final after 30 days after receipt of item. 

In any case, please contact us and we will work with you to solve any problems that you may have.  We are here to help and your satisfaction is what we value most.  

Return Shipping

If you purchased an item and you decide you want to return it for reasons other than a damaged, mistaken or otherwise defective product, you will be responsible for return shipping. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

Item not picked up at receiving country's post office and returned to us

In the event that the customer fails to pick up the package from the post office, usually the post office will hold the package for 20 days.  If the customer does not collect the package, it will be returned to us here in Japan.  In that case we will contact you to arrange redelivery.  This will be at the customer's expense.  If you don't want to send again, we will charge a 20 percent restocking fee.  We will refund 80% of the original purchase price.  The shipping fee is non-refundable in this case.  In some cases, the post office may charge us a return shipping fee.  If this happens, we will deduct the return shipping fee from the refund.  Please watch the tracking, and promptly pick up your package from the post office to avoid this type of problem.
