Vintage Japanese Stainless Steel Ladle Spoon
This is a vintage Japanese stainless steel serving ladle or spoon used for simple salads, but also for scooping noodles and other solid items from a nabe hotpot. It has an open slotted side on the metal piece used for straining solids from liquids and gripping things like noodles and bean sprouts. The handle is simple and wooden with carved lines at the end. This piece makes it easy to remove food items such as vegetables, meats, and noodles from the pot without filling your personal bowl with excess liquid. It can also be used for general salads.
