This vintage Japanese modern calligraphy course is divided into sections: getting ready, regular script (kaisho), semi-cursive or running script (gyosho), cursive script (sosho), kana (hiragana and katakana) and daily writings. This course is in a ring binder with large format pages for easy use. For each script, you have several examples with detailed explanations of applying the ink and which pressure to apply to the brush.
