Vintage Japanese Miniature Taiko Drum Boys' Festival Display
This is a Japanese vintage miniature brown and gold display-only taiko drum with a stand and cushion. The drum and drumhead are made of resin has a decorative royal purple tassel attached to a metal loop on one side. The drum sits on a purple square cushion with two small orange tassels, and the stand is made of wood and lacquered black with a chrysanthemum decoration on the front side. It comes with the original paper box. There are no drumsticks.
This Japanese Taiko drum is a traditional decoration for the Boys' Day Festival celebrating good health and fortune for boys on May 5th each year.

- Good condition considering age. Drumheads have some scratches and rub marks. Lacquer cracking on stand base. Metal decoration on top of drum peeling. Paper box has some holes on side. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
