This is a vintage Japanese porcelain small deep plate called sara or kozara. This blue-and-white plate is a sometsuke with a dragon design. It has slightly raised edges and a flat center. This item is perfect for small side dishes, condiments, dipping sauces, or simply to hold small jewelry or keys.
