Japanese Resin Lacquer Replica Bento Box
This is a lidded Japanese bento lunch box. While made of lightweight resin plastic, this box is stylized to look like a traditional lacquerware bento box. It is rectangular and mostly black. The lid features a lush chrysanthemum (kiku) collage that mimics the general look of wood-carved kamakurabori-style designs. It also makes for a beautiful storage box for small items.
This was purchased at the famous Osu Antique Market in Nagoya, Japan
