Japanese Traditional Footwear Wooden Clogs Geta
These are Japanese vintage wooden lacquered clogs Geta. These are red lacquered with pink plum blossom painted. There are no thongs. Geta are traditional Japanese footwear with strings and teeth (wooden spikes) on the bottom. These were daily-use footwear. Nowadays, it is worn as part of fashion or with a yukata.
