Vintage Japanese Wooden Statue
This is a vintage Japanese carved wooden statue of an old smiling man standing and wearing a hat. This figure is possibly inspired by Fukurokuju, one of the 7 Lucky Gods (shichifukujin), said to give the blessings of luck, wealth, and longevity. This wooden statue is carved from a solid piece of wood. There is a hole in the man's fist where a staff once was, but this piece has been misplaced or lost over time.
