Vintage Japanese Small Wooden Bowl

This is a Japanese vintage small bowl, or kobachi, typically used for serving cold salad, fruit, and other dishes. This lightweight round dish is carved from wood with a clear brushed lacquer finish. It features concentric circles of wood grain.  It can also be used for storing small trinkets, jewelry, keys, etc.
