Vtg Japanese Wooden Seven Lucky Gods Statue w/Box

This is a vintage Japanese brushed lacquer wooden statue that depicts the Treasure Ship (takarabune) most notably used by the Seven Lucky Gods (shichifukujin). It is made up of many simple figures without much fine detail giving the entire statue a more abstract, minimalist look. It comes with the original paper box.
The Seven Lucky Gods personify good luck and fortune. The gods and their symbolisms include: Juroujin (longevity), Ebisu (integrity), Daikokuten (prosperity), Benzaiten (kindness), Hotei (magnanimity), Fukurokuju (popularity), and Bishamonten (dignity). Overall they bring luck, happiness, and good fortune.
