Vtg Japanese Court Lady Hina Doll
This adorable vintage court lady ohinasama doll dressed in an orange, gold, and white kimono is the perfect addition to any existing hina set or adds gorgeous Eastern flair to any home decor. She typically holds a kuwae with no choushi accessory and a sake server, but this piece is missing. Her spiked headpiece is also missing. This doll comes with a simple black resin stand. The doll is made in the kimekomi style, which is crafted by adhering and pressing silk fabric onto a carved wooden, resin, or clay base.
The Hinamatsuri (Doll's Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year. Its purpose is primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of the festival and are prominently displayed in homes during it.
