Vintage Ceramic Three Wise Monkeys Coin Bank
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic coin bank, or chokin bako, in the shape of the Three Wise Monkeys (sanzaru). The three monkeys represent the proverb "see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil". The monkeys sit on the roof of a house and a slot for coins is at the back behind the center monkey. There is no seal on the bottom.
