Vtg. Japanese Wooden Tansu Storage Chest

This is a vintage Japanese storage chest, also called tansu. Brown, this sizable, cube-shaped chest has three similar-sized drawers with small resin plastic knob hardware. The insides of the drawers are unlined. This tansu chest can be used for storing sewing supplies (as a haribako), jewelry, hobby supplies, or other trinkets.
