Japanese Vintage Porcelain Sake Cup

This is a vintage Japanese porcelain sake cup. This particular type of cup is called tsubomi or "bud type" due to its resemblance to a flower bud. In terms of size, it is also called ochoko. It has a hand-painted scene of a pagoda on a rock in the sea with a large pine tree in gray, red, gold, and green. There is a decorative red and gold inside rim. The blue design on the outside is another version of the image inside.
