Vintage Japanese Ceramic Nabe Pot

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic nabe pot. Used to cook various hotpot dishes with vegetables, meat, and noodles, this large shallow pot with a lid is a light brown and terracotta color with simple impression designs on the lid. It had two handles on the sides for easy transport. On the lid is a hole for venting steam. This is a popular household item that is used primarily during the winter months and can be used to serve 3-4 people.
