Vintage Japanese Porcelain Plate Kozara
This item is a vintage Japanese porcelain small plate, or Kozara. White with a black border, this delicate, handcrafted plate features lush white and gold plum blossoms (ume) on black branches with an orange sun. It has raised bumps where flower buds on the branches are. Plum blossoms bloom at the end of winter, and this image gives a cold winter morning sunrise feel.
Kozara are often used for small dishes and desserts, but with a beautiful design, can be an excellent display piece.
