Vintage Japanese Bamboo Metal Kiseru Pipe
This is a large vintage Japanese traditional kiseru pipe. It is made of a long, hollow shaft of bamboo with a gold-colored metal mouthpiece and bowl. Both metal pieces have a mon (crest) with two cranes circling it. There is also a Chinese-derived geometric pattern border. There is a zigzag design burned into the pipe's shaft for decoration. It appears unused and may have been used as a prop in traditional theatre.
