 Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll Figurine

This vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi doll figurine features 8 darumas, Japanese symbols of perseverance and good luck. These darumas are orange with four larger ones sitting on a fabric-covered scroll and four smaller ones resting in the basket. They each have a painted face typical of daruma. There is a folding fan-shaped piece on the back. The base is made from natural wood.
