Vintage Japanese Wooden Storage Box
Wooden boxes are a common method of safely keeping and storing delicate pottery, vases, and other ceramic, clay, and glass items in Japan. In addition to pottery, they are also widely used for a plethora of other traditional Japanese crafts, including kimono accessories, wrapping cloths, chopsticks, commemorative gifts, etc, and even food.
This lidded box is made of sturdy wood and a natural wood color. It has three differently-sized compartments and was originally used to store a set of teacups with a teapot. It is excellent for general storage, DIY, or decoration.

- Good condition considering age. Lid warped and does not close flush. Some scratches and discoloration. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
