Vintage Japanese Ceramic Spoon
This is a Japanese vintage ceramic spoon. It is small and features a white glaze with blue accent on the handle. Made primarily for eating chawanmushi, a traditional Japanese savory steamed egg custard dish, it is also an excellent choice for puddings, flan, and gelatins as the scoop of the spoon is deep.
This piece was purchased at the famous Osu Antique Market in Nagoya, Japan
