Vintage Japanese Wooden Drink Coasters w/ Storage

This item is a set of vintage Japanese drink saucers/coasters, also known as chataku. A set of six, these chataku are made up of a woven and clear brushed lacquer base, followed by a printed floral design (namely hibiscus flowers and a butterfly), and thin curved pieces of bamboo to make up the decorative edge. It comes with a bamboo stand that holds all six coasters and has two handle for easy transport. The base has a small piece of glass for a teacup or glass to rest on.
