Vintage Japanese Ceramic Katakuchi Serving Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic serving bowl with a spout, or katakuchi. This bowl has an Oribe style design of a dripping green glaze on one side with the rest a soft crackled beige. Katakuchi are used for serving matcha green tea and, in some cases, for serving sake or for steamed vegetables.
