Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl
This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl or matcha chawan. It is mostly beige with a soft peachy pink band on the outside and inside near the bottom. It features a gold and silver samurai helmet (kabuto) with purple. This is a juraku piece, and looks very similar to kyoyaki.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
