Vintage Japanese Bamboo Storage Basket
This is a natural bamboo woven basket used for storing and transporting items. It has a wooden bottom frame for stability and corner brackets. It has cast iron handles on a wooden panel on each side and the inside is lined with thin black paper. This unique traveler's chest contains a hook on one side and a locking mechanism on the other (originally it had a lid and strap for security).
