Vintage Japanese Bamboo Basket
This is a vintage Japanese bamboo basket for small Ikebana arrangements and decoration. Expertly woven with fine strips of bamboo in the hexagonal mutsume-ami style (also called Shaker), this spacious, round, cylindrical basket has a black resin insert for holding a kenzan (spiked plate) and water for ikebana or other floral arrangements. It is the perfect addition to liven any home or office decor.
