Vtg Japanese Ceramic Tokoname Ware Statue Figurine 

This is a Japanese Tokoname ware ceramic figurine. It is a decorative zodiac ornament of the monkey. It holds a hammer and sits on a straw bag, just like Daikokuten (the god of good fortune). In Japan, as a talisman to pray for family safety, prosperous business, and good luck and longevity, ornaments of the year's display at the house.
