Vtg Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Scroll
This Japanese vintage silk and paper hanging scroll represents Amidabutsu, the principal Buddha of the Jodo Shinshu school. This scroll is an icon displayed in Japanese Buddhist home altars, Butsudan. It is a powerful religious image, aimed to be at the center of an altar. This honzon is brown and red with with a blue and gold icon.
