Vtg Japanese Wooden Red Shishi Lion Head Castanets
This is a wooden castanet of Japanese Yamagata Prefecture folk art folk toy. A red lion's head and a wooden board with a handle are tied with a string. This is called The Shonai board lion (庄内板獅子).
