Vintage Japanese Porcelain Small Plate, Kozara
This is a vintage Japanese porcelain plate. This rectangular, small plate, also called kozara, is white with blue, red, and yellow and features floral blooms and buds on the outer sides. Kozara are often used for side dishes and serving desserts. This particular plate is most likely used for single servings of sashimi. There is a maker's stamp on the bottom.
We got this item at an antique auction in Tajimi in Gifu, Japan.
