Vintage Japanese Bamboo Lacquerware Basket
This is a vintage Japanese lacquerware basket. Sometimes called morikago, a multipurpose basket typically found on tables and countertops, this piece is commonly used to hold seasonal fruits as the spaces between the woven bands of bamboo allow air to pass through.
Coated in a rich chocolate brown lacquer, this beautiful little shallow basket is the perfect addition to any home or office decor. This basket also has two fitted bracket legs to keep the item stable.
