Vtg Japanese Plaster Mask
This is a vintage Japanese plaster mask (Omen). It is depicting the face of a vengeful spirit called Hannya. Hannya is a representation of a female's jealousy and resentment. It is also known as a character that appears in Japanese traditional performing arts "Noh".
