Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Drink Saucers

This is a four-piece set of vintage Japanese wooden lacquered drink saucers/coasters, or chataku. Stained a medium brown and brushed with a clear lacquer coating, this easily stackable set has flower-petal-like edges for subtle, elegant decoration. It also has carved rings at the very center to provide traction to keep cups in place.
